Happy Teacher's Day

Isn't this a lovely sight! A surprise Teacher's Day gift from Joel Lee and his mum. It's a pot of double petalled African Violets. Best of all this plant propagates from each single leaf. So far 4 leaves have been cut and 2 friends who like gardening have a leaf each and I have the other 2. So there will soon be 4 extra African Violet plants. On top of that I have promised to give 3 more students a leaf each when the leaves grow a little larger. So this pleasant surprise has brought cheer to many. Thanks Joel & Lan Fong.
That's the end of this post. Why, so short? I spent a frustrating time trying to upload pictures to the blog the ordinary way and couldn't. So this post is created via Picassa: Blog This! (I don't know how to upload more pictures to this post, so I shall continue writing in another post)

Happy Teacher's Day! (to any teacher reading this post)
